Cleaning Tips: Cleaning Inside The Car

DIY interior clean

A professional interior car clean can be quite costly but doing it yourself can be inexpensive and simple. You probably have the tools and materials required to get back that inside freshness and shine.

• Vacuum Cleaner. A vacuum cleaner with all its accessories is ideal.
• Cleaning Products. Keeping it simple I would go with a eco multipurpose spray. Warm Water and Furniture Polish.
• Cloths and Polishing Materials. You need a range of towels and rags, microfiber cloths and paper towels.

Floor Mats
Remove the floor mats and vigorously shake the dirt loose.
If a good shake is not enough, try loosening grime with a stiff brush. Clean between the grooves with your vacuum cleaners hose nozzle.

Seats

Start off with a thorough vacuuming to get as much dirt off the seats before applying any cleaning chemicals.
  • Leather
As a rule of thumb, we usually recommend that you apply chemicals to your cloth and rub onto leather to avoid any excess damage which can come from applying too much leather polish. Dry the seats with a microfiber cloth.
  • Vinyl
With vinyl, clean-up can be quick and easy. Many products that you may already have will work fine. Even some brands of glass cleaner do a good job.
  • Cloth
When dealing with cloth seat, use liquid cleaning products to a minimum, to avoid dampness and the car smelling musty.

Windows and Mirrors

A glass cleaner and a paper towels or even newspapers can work wonders when cleaning glass surfaces.

Front Panel
The front panel is the area that we see most. Unfortunately, thanks to all the knobs, switches, vents, and dusty nooks and crannies, it can seem difficult to clean – but not if you have the right tools.

Dashboard & Console
Vacuum all the dust before you apply a cleaning product, making sure to reach as far as possible during the entire process.
Use a plastic knife wrapped in a cloth or cotton swabs to get into the crevices and vacuum after then polish.

Air Vents

a soft, long bristle brush can clean those dirty vents in no time.

Door Panels

Before cleaning with a chemical product, remove loose dirt and then vacuum thoroughly.

Carpets and Floor Mats
As a lot of of the dust and rubbish and clutter will tend to end up on the floor before and during the clean we suggest you do this area last.
Before you begin, remove all rubbish and clutter. Slide seats forward and backward to get right underneath seat when vacuuming.

The Hidden Benefits of Carpet Shampooing: Transforming Your Home and Health

Carpets add warmth and comfort to our homes, but over time, they accumulate dirt, allergens, and stains that can impact both the aesthetics of our living spaces and our overall well-being. Regular carpet maintenance is crucial, and one effective way to revive and refresh your carpets is through carpet shampooing. In this blog post, we will explore the numerous reasons why carpet shampooing is not just a cosmetic choice but a health-conscious decision for your home.
  • Deep Cleaning for a Healthier Home:
Carpet fibers are notorious for trapping dust, dirt, pet dander, and other allergens, which can contribute to respiratory issues and allergies. Carpet shampooing goes beyond surface cleaning, penetrating deep into the fibers to remove these hidden pollutants. By doing so, you create a healthier indoor environment for you and your family.
  • Prolonging Carpet Lifespan:
Regular carpet maintenance, including shampooing, can significantly extend the life of your carpets. Dirt and debris that accumulate over time can cause fibers to break down and deteriorate. By regularly shampooing your carpets, you prevent the buildup of damaging particles, ensuring that your carpets remain in top condition for years to come.
  • Stain Removal and Aesthetic Enhancement:
Accidents happen, and stains can be an eyesore. Carpet shampooing is an effective way to lift and eliminate stubborn stains, restoring your carpets to their original beauty. This not only enhances the overall aesthetics of your home but also boosts your confidence in your living space.
  • Eliminating Unpleasant Odors:
Carpets can trap unpleasant odors from various sources, including pets, spills, and everyday activities. Carpet shampooing not only removes the visible dirt but also tackles the embedded odors. The result is a fresher, more inviting home environment.
  • Preventing Mold and Mildew Growth:
Moisture can become trapped in carpets, creating an ideal environment for mold and mildew growth. Carpet shampooing helps remove excess moisture and prevents the development of these harmful substances. This is particularly important in humid climates or areas prone to spills.
  • Enhancing Indoor Air Quality:

Clean carpets contribute to better indoor air quality. As carpet shampooing removes allergens and pollutants, it reduces the likelihood of these particles becoming airborne. This is especially beneficial for individuals with respiratory conditions or allergies.

Carpet shampooing is not just a cosmetic indulgence; it is a proactive measure to maintain a healthy, vibrant home. By investing in regular carpet maintenance, you are not only preserving the aesthetic appeal of your living space but also promoting the well-being of your family. So, make carpet shampooing a regular part of your home care routine and reap the rewards of a cleaner, healthier, and more comfortable living environment.
